Black Eyed Peas Had 'Time of Their Lives' in Super Bowl Halftime Show

The Black Eyed Peas lit up a dimmed Cowboys Stadium for the Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday night. Despite some audio issues, the electrifying and energetic performance was without any other types of malfunctions synonymous of halftime shows past.

Singing their hit "I Got a Feeling," the chart-topping group descended from the sky to the gridiron. The mosh-pit of fans glowed in white, drawing attention to their synchronized clapping against the dark backdrop of a blacked-out stadium. Fergie dazzled and sparkled in $2 million worth of Harry Winston diamonds.

"Boom Boom Pow" followed in the eight song medley of hits. Dancers in an arrow formation took the field, fully charged with green lights. Special guest Slash offered guitar accompaniment as Fergie belted out Guns N' Roses' "Sweet Child o' Mine."

The Black Eyed Peas took back the spotlight for another two songs, "Pump It" and "Let's Get It Started," before handing the mic over to another surprise from above. Usher was lowered to the stage by a chain for his hit "OMG."

The Fergalicious popstars spread the love with "Where is the Love?" The word "LOVE" was spelled out on the field in lights and dancers created a heart formation, pumping their bodies up and down to convey a beating heart.

Looking to be having the time of their lives on the stage, the Black Eyed Peas sang a few bars of their tune "The Time (Dirty Bit)" before closing the show with their opening number, "I Got a Feeling." Perfectly aligned dancers covered the yard lines, rippling in unison.

The high-octane performance had to come to an end, leaving only minutes for the field to clear for the last two quarters of the match-up between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers.
