'50s Bombshell Jane Russell Passes Away

'40s and '50s screen legend Jane Russell has passed away. The actress died Monday at her home in Santa Maria, Calif. from respiratory heart failure, her family told The Associated Press. She was 89.

Russell starred in Howard Hughes' 'The Outlaw' in 1941. Staying true to her Western roots, her daughter-in-law, Etta Waterfield, told the AP, "She always said I?m going to die in the saddle, I'm not going to sit at home and become an old woman." Until recently, Russell remained active in her church and her foundation, World Adoption International Agency.

She once shared the screen with another famous bombshell, Marilyn Monroe, in 1953's 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.' Russell referred to Marilyn as "a little sister," according to the AP. The actress retired from movies following 1970's 'Darker Than Amber.'

Unable to bear children of her own which may have been due to an abortion in high school, Russell and first husband, NFL quarterback Bob Waterfield, adopted three children together. Their 24-year marriage concluded in divorce in 1968. Just three months after exchanging vows with actor Roger Barrett, he died of a heart attack. She was also widowed by third husband, John Peoples, who died of heart failure in 1999 after a 21-year marriage.

Russell's autobiography "My Paths and Detours," published in 1985, reveals intimate details of her childhood, film career, and love life. Born June 21, 1921, her full name was Ernestine Jane Geraldine Russell. She is survived by her three children, six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. A public funeral will take place on March 12.

Charlie Sheen is suing CBS, demands an apology

Charlie Sheen was on both Good Morning America and the Today show this morning, though the two interviews were essentially interchangeable since he was way too high to make any sense in either one.

He didn?t say how he got to the interview all the way from Fantasyland, but I assume he rode there on a griffin, because the highlight was him saying that CBS owes him an apology, ?publicly, while licking my feet?, and him going into great detail about how much he loves drugs, but that he would consider going back to work on Two and a Half Men, if he got a raise from $1.8 million an episode to 3 million, PLUS a 20 million dollar signing bonus.

And to sweeten the pot even more, as if CBS needed it, he?s also suing them.

On ABC, Sheen said to correspondent Andrea Canning that he planned to sue his bosses.
?Wouldn?t you? I?ve got a whole family to support and love. People beyond me are relying on that. I?m here to collect. They?re going to lose. They?re going to lose in a courtroom, so I would recommend that they settle out of court.?

And if that still wasn?t enough to convince CBS to sign him to a huge new contract, maybe this love letter he wrote to cocaine and getting high will.

Sheen said that he?s bored now with cocaine. But he said he ?exposed people to magic? when they partied with him and that he loved doing drugs.
?What?s not to love?? he said on ABC. ?Especially when you see how I party. It was epic. The run I was on made Sinatra, Flynn, Jagger, Richards just look like droopy-eyed armless children.?
?I am on a drug,? Sheen said. ?It?s called Charlie Sheen. It?s not available because if you try it you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body.?

If he does another interview I hope someone flicks the lights off real quick because I bet he?s so high that he would glow in the dark. I?d also like to see them put some plants near him and a timer on the screen to watch how quickly they die.

Having a blast after the 83rd annual Academy Awards, Dianna Agron was spotted at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party last night (February 27).

Louis C.K. asked Donald Rumsfeld if he?s a lizard

Louis C.K. was on Opie and Anthony yesterday when former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld called in for an interview, presumably because of some kind of clerical oversight on the part of Rumsfelds staff.

Things started off routinely enough, and then at around the 2:30 mark, Louis says?

?There?s still those people out there that think, you know, Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney are actually lizards, who, I mean literally, there are people who think they are lizards from outer space who eat human flesh.
I don?t know if anybody has ever asked you directly, sir, but are you a lizard? Are you actually, can you just please give that a straight answer, are you a lizard person??

Rumsfeld never does actually deny being a lizard from outer space, even though Louis spends the next 14 minutes asking him about it. Then the call ends and Louis and Opie and Anthony talk about why Rumsfeld wouldn?t deny it, while Rumsfeld himself ate a mouse, conjured up live video of Louis through a crystal ball and yelled ?Sieze Him!? to his guards.

You could definitely argue that she shouldn?t have had sex at a family party, but parties have tons of cakes and pies and cookies. Look at her. Of course she was gonna get turned on.

The Social Network's Aaron Sorkin Says "My Hat's Off to Mark Zuckerberg" in Oscars Press Room

Aaron Sorkin has been picking up accolades throughout award season for his adapted screenplay for The Social Network, and he completed his run with an Oscar win tonight. Back in the press room, the screenwriter talked about his next project, the power of the Internet, and why he has to give proper credit to Mark Zuckerberg.

On the talented, young cast of The Social Network: I'll try to sum it up this way. Like a lot of people I grew up watching The Graduate and I always wondered what it must have been like for Buck Henry to see Dustin Hoffman just do it for the first time, with no rehearsal. I don't wonder anymore. I know exactly how he felt. I see Jesse doing it. I see Andrew doing it. Justin, Armie, and this cast do it under the guidance of David Fincher. It was an incredibly talented and very, very young cast. This material isn't for beginners. These were the youngest characters I've ever written. We had to find exceptional actors and we found them all and got the best performances out of them. It wasn't just the performances. It was everything.
On what's up next: I'll be very candid with you. Since the movie came out and got the kind of critical reaction and cultural reaction that it's gotten, I've been hyper aware that the thing I do next is going to be "the thing I did after The Social Network." I'm going to spend tonight enjoying this and tomorrow starting something new. I think that's what I have to do. I'm just going to keep writing. Keep doing what I've always been doing. Try to find something that I like. Something that I think my friends will like and my father would like and keep my fingers crossed.
On Mark Zuckerberg: I think he's been an awfully good sport about this film. I don't think that there is anybody here who would want a movie made about things they did when they were 19 years old. And if that movie absolutely, positively had to be made, you'd want it to be made only from your point of view. And you wouldn't want included the point of view of people suing you for hundreds of millions of dollars and have a visceral, emotional reaction to you. That is the movie that we made. And then with things like Mark's appearance on SNL, the fact that he took his staff out to see the movie the day it came out in the US on Oct. 1, and, however it might be related, his $100 million gift to the New Jersey school system. That was met with some cynicism in the press, but I'm sure that the kids, and their parents, and the teachers in Newark aren't worried about how the money got there. So my hat's off to him.
On his relationship with The King's Speech writer David Seidler: I'm proud to say I've got a bromance going with him. I think that his screenplay for The King's Speech is remarkable. It started when I asked around and got his email address after I saw the movie because I had to write and tell him how much I loved it. I'd never met him before or had any interaction with him. He emailed back and we began emailing each other every few days.
On the influence of social media: Listen, I've written a lot and talked a little bit about being wary about the Internet. Somewhere along the way I've become my grandmother. You saw what happened in Cairo and there are other examples of social networking tools mobilizing people for great causes like that. Again, we have to thank the Mark Zuckerbergs that are out there.

Anne Hathaway & James Franco: Oscar Hosting Greatness

They?ve been hyping up their Oscar hosting gig for weeks, and tonight (February 27) Anne Hathaway and James Franco handled their Academy Awards duties quite nicely.

The ?Devil Wears Prada? babe and the ?127 Hours? stud were both dressed to impress as they emceed Hollywood?s biggest night at the Kodak Theatre.

When Kirk Douglas came out to announced the Best Supporting Actress nominees, Anne swooned a bit- especially when the iconic actor hit on her!

Miss Hathaway also did a solo performance of a song meant to call Hugh Jackman out for not singing with her, after which Franco came out onstage sporting a blonde wig and a pink gown.

Throughout the evening, Anne and James added some fabulous humorous moments to the already-illustrious event while at the same time maintaing the classy motif.

New Video: Justin Bieber Surprises Fans with Video for Kobe Bryant

Over 37 million fans voted and the winner is ... Kobe Bryant! Cartoon Network announced who got top honors in their first-ever sports awards show, Cartoon Network Hall of Game Awards -- and a highlight of the fun-filled night was a surprise video by teen sensation Justin Bieber!

In a special awards presentation, tennis champ Venus Williams, winner of the Super Siblings Award with her sister Serena, awarded the night's biggest honor, King of the Court, to Lakers star Kobe Bryant. In addition to the award, the basketball great also received a humorous video from some big fans ? Justin Bieber and Jimmy Kimmel!

"What's up, Kobe? Justin here. I just got done playing ball and I wanted to congratulate you for winning King of the Court. You know, I'm really happy for you but this guy is really angry." Pointing to a seated Kimmel, Bieber goes on to say, "He thought he should have won."

While Charlie Sheen spent his morning texting Good Morning America that he?s still showing up for work on Tuesday because you?re not winning if you don?t have hostages, Bree Olson put on her publicist hat and tweeted the least suspicious thing I?ve ever read in my life:

I don?t do drugs and neither does anybody around me. I used to drink occasionally and don?t even do that anymore. Yeah, I love sex, so what?

Wow. Case closed. I can admit when I?m wrong. In the meantime, how does one even end up on a private jet en route to Whore Island anyway? By tweeting the following, of course:

Angelina Jolie, 35, has commissioned London-based jewelery designer Robert Procop to create a diamond pendant for Brad Pitt, 47, engraved with a love message a source confirms to UsMagazine.com.

The actress is working with Procop on her own jewelry line, The Style of Jolie.

"The hidden message is lasered on," Procop told UK's Daily Mail. "I can't tell you what it says, and you would need a microscope to read it!"

Sources close to Charlie's "goddess" Natalie Kenly -- one third of Charlie's Bahamian threesome -- tell TMZ that the 25-year-old used to date Shifty on-and-off for about a year ... but the ex-couple finally called it quits a couple months ago.

Natalie also posed naked in a photo with Ron Jeremy -- we're told it was snapped back in 2009 ... during an AVN porn party in Vegas. Shocker.

Rihanna and Ciara Battle in Twitter Catfight

The social network spat began when R&B star Rihanna took to her Twitter page to express being "hurt" by comments made by fellow singer Ciara on the E! News show "Fashion Police."�

Ciara spoke on the show of an encounter with Rihanna: "I ran into her recently at a party and she wasn't the nicest, and it's crazy because I've always loved and respected what she's done with fashion and I've ran into her, you know, before but this time it was really? it wasn't the most pleasant run in?"�

Rihanna retaliated by tweeting: "My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme." Ciara tweeted back: "Trust me Rihanna u don?t want to see me on or off the stage." To this, Rihanna responded with: "U gangsta huh? Haaa. Good luck with booking that stage u speak of."

The feud quickly ended though when Rihanna sent an apology tweet: "Ciara baby, I love you girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I'm heartbroken! That's y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup."

Ciara then accepted the apology, tweeting: "Rhi, u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. You threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let?s chat in person."

Jessica Biel Stays Low-Key as JT Prepares For Oscar Sunday

Jessica Biel was makeup free and casual when she stepped out for lunch with a friend in Beverly Hills on Thursday. The actress has been laying low since showing off her super toned bikini body during a Hawaiian getaway at the end of last month. She's skipped the award season red-carpet scene, though perhaps she'll join Justin Timberlake at an afterparty tomorrow night when he is done with his presenting duties at the Oscars. His dramatic movie The Social Network is up for a handful of awards, but JT got back to comedy in the raunchy, expletive-filled trailer for Bad Teacher. Jessica and Justin haven't been spotted together recently, though the long-term couple is known to go months without a public sighting. Jessica will be heading to NYC soon to join the rest of the cast of New Year's Eve on set, and she's also on the short list to play Lois Lane in the upcoming Superman and also just signed on for a new project with Uma Thurman and Gerard Butler.

Tinseltown Ladies Get the Pre-Oscar Partying Underway

As the Tinseltown movie stars ready for the grandest date in their calendar year, a bevy of lovely ladies gathered together for the Fourth Annual Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party in West Hollywood, California on Friday night (February 25).

Presented by Perrier-Jouet while held at Soho House, Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry looked stunning as she spent much of the evening alongside Women in Film President Cathy Schulman.

Joining Miss Berry were a trio of Academy Award Best Supporting Actress nominees, as Amy Adams, Hailee Steinfeld and Melissa Leo were all in attendance.

Rounding out the guest list, "Private Practice" star Kate Walsh and former "House" actress Jennifer Morrison mingled amongst revelers at the swanky indoor/outdoor fete - which boasted a relaxed setting with comfy couches and chairs spread around well-manicured garden beds.

The Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party comes as the biggest names in show business ready for the 83rd Annual Academy Awards, which will be airing live from The Kodak Theatre on Sunday, February 27th at 8PM ET on ABC.

'NJ Housewives' Involved In CRAZY Bar Attack

Multiple cast members on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" were involved in a bar fight at a Hard Rock Hotel in the Dominican Republic this week ... TMZ has learned.

Sources involved in the situation tell us ... a couple of castmembers were hanging out at a bar inside the Hard Rock around 1:00 AM Wednesday morning when they got into a heated argument with a male patron.

We're told someone involved in the argument grabbed a drinking glass and smashed it over the man's head ... and the guy was hurt so badly, he needed immediate medical attention.

So far, it's unclear which cast members were involved in the fight -- but we're told Teresa and Caroline had been spotted at the Hard Rock that night.

A rep from Bravo had no comment on the situation.
